Ranger Hal reached his biggest audience via television.  But he also met his fans in person, appearing at school events, store openings, Christmas parties, hospitals, pet shows, the Soap Box Derby, church bazaars, company picnics, and many other types of events.

He rode in many parades in Jacksonville, Ocala, Brunswick, Waycross, St. Augustine, and other towns and cities in WJXT's viewing area.  He produced and starred in the "Children's Dental Health Show" for an association of Jacksonville dentists.  A page in the site is devoted to his "adventures."
